The weather is great for outside mobile programs and the reptiles are very active with the warm temps. Come visit the Snakes Alive Reptile Zoo for some fun handson experience with the wide variety of snakes, lizards, and turtles. We also acquired some amphibians for added variety. Home Schoolers, our programs make a great addition for your children - we will bring them to you and tailor a program to your needs. Animal Donations just keep coming - but that means we need more cage space and could use some volunteer help - great experience for anyone wanting to deal a variety of reptiles from small to large, native to exotic, without the responsibilty of ownership. Any donations to help with feeding and housing will be greatly appreciated as well. May 2007 Our Birthday Party schedule is filling up for the summer months - book early - it is sure to be an experience you and your special child will remember. We are also now selling frozen mice, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits.
We outgrew the zoo on the square and have moved to 4191 Hwy 53 E, just 2.5 miles West of the GA 400 and Hwy 53 intersection. Just 5 minutes from the Outlet Mall. We now live onsite - which means not only are the snakes and lizards available to tour, but our turtle tanks as well as our exotic birds. Come say hello to "Baby", an adopted Citron-crested Cockatoo and "Alpha", our "mature" African Gray Parrot. We have triple the floor space and room for programs or Birthday parties onsite. Call 706-216-6192 for info. Recent additions by donation (thanks) include 2 juvenile Savannah Monitors, a juvenile Columbian Tegu, a juvenile and sub-adult Red-tail Boa Constrictor. We also have newborn Kenyan Sand Boas from our breeding pair and 3 neonate Canebrake Rattlesnakes from a rescued gravid female. I will be overhauling and updating the species list before the new year so stay tuned.
